We have, all of us, been invited to be co-laborers with the Lord of the harvest.

It is indeed an honor to be engaged in the work of the Lord.

It is even more of an honor to be in relationship with the Lord of the work.

The former should never eclipse the latter.

Too often missionaries are so focused on the work of the Lord that they lose sight of the Lord of the work. That’s why it’s so important that we, as under-shepherds, keep our eyes fixed on him – so we can be an example, and so we can effectively exhort harvest workers to do the same.
