Jesus invited his disciples to take time off from their ministry to be alone with him and to be refreshed. One of the primary goals of Paracletos is to provide a tranquil getaway for missionaries, where hope can be replenished. A place where they can be alone with Jesus.
Nestled in the hills of southeastern Indiana are 72 acres of hardwood forest and creeks. Surrounded by the beauty of God's creation, and abounding in wildlife, peace and tranquility just go with the territory. It is in this setting that God has provided the ideal location for Baan Sabai (bahn sah-bye: Thai for tranquil house).
With Dave and Irene Lewis as hosts, Baan Sabai is able to accommodate singles, couples, or entire families for a time of personal retreat. Dave and Irene combine their experience with their gifts of hospitality and shepherding to create an environment in which missionaries will find refuge and encouragement.
